Geometry

Height, perpendicularity and parallelism of a part, measured in several sections. A typical example is catalyst substrates in the CMS.

Contour

Open and closed profiles, compared with the nominal contour. With path tracking, the sensor also follows unknown shapes, such as the wire of a spring.

Diameter

Local or averaged, in several sections. For springs, also the wire diameter.

Roundness

Using the four reference methods LSC, MIC, MCC and MZC, to DIN EN ISO 12181-1 or OEM specifications.

Thickness

Thickness of flexible structural parts with two sensors in a twin sensor design, repeatable to 5 µm. Sheet thickness on canned catalytic converters.

Circumference

Circumference of containers, substrates and tubes, with a blue laser even on semi-transparent plastic.

Defects

Chipping by size, position and volume, shown in the unrolled view and the 3D colour map.

Nominal/actual with CAD

Import the nominal contour from CAD, compare automatically, see deviations in the tolerance band, separated into inward and outward.
